Step & Skate is bringing the culture to the rink with a Memphis Wall Riding Workshop, hosted ahead of Southern Roll weekend. This 2-hour, Memphis-style crash course is designed to introduce and sharpen the fundamentals of wall riding—the city’s most iconic skating technique.
Led by seasoned wall-riding veterans, this workshop breaks down the mechanics, rhythm, and flow behind riding the wall with confidence and style.
Participants will be guided through:
The rhythm and bounce unique to Memphis-style wall riding
Proper glide, balance, and body positioning
